Kids, Cops & the Community!

All Ballistics events are planned and developed by the Ballistics Youth Committee.  Membership to the Ballistics Committee is open to anybody under the age of 24 that wants to be involved in the development and running of great drug and alcohol free events in the Illawarra.  

Ballistics is part of the Wollongong PCYC, which is a registered not for profit charity with our main mission being to provide youth develop opportunities.  Any profit that are drawn from a Ballistics Youth Event are returned to the Community.  At all of our events we have a minimum of 3 Police present for the entire night no other event can claim to have this guarantee.  On top of our police we have at least 1 licensed security officer per 100  youth or part there of and to top this off we also have another 6-15 PCYC staff and volunteers at every event.  

Ballistics has been strongly supported by the local community, including the Wollongong LAC, Wollongong City Council, Illawarra Area Health, The Department of Tourism Sports and Recreation, Novotel North Beach, Noreen Hay M.P, Mobile Gallery, Skip Surf, Sparties, WECT, 313 Entertainment,  Supre, I98FM, Boost Juice Bar Wollongong, DJ Traximus, Clubs NSW and most importantly the youth of the Illawarra!

 

Ballistics Under 18's Dance Parties are conducted by the the Ballistix Youth Committee at The Illawarra Master Builders Club - 61 Church Street Wollongong.  The committee is supported by the Wollongong Police and Community Youth Club and the Police attached to the PCYC.  The Wollongong PCYC is a registered charity with 100% tax deductibility status and has been established for over 50 years. It is a name you can trust!
