Ballistics is all about having fun in a safe environment. However the Police and Security that are at each event will not tolerate any offensive behavior or conduct, the information below sets out what is required of you to participate in our events. We reserve all rights including the right to change or add rules without notice and to refuse entry without giving a reason. Summary of conditions of entry that you agree to when purchasing a ticket or paying for entry. 1. No Pass Outs at All 2. No leaving until 30 minutes before the scheduled end of the event. 3. No entry allowed after 7.30 pm Unless prior arrangements are made before the Saturday of the event. 4. No smoking, at Ballistics Events. 5. No fighting 6. No Chewing Gum 7. You consent to being searched by a Police officer or security officer of the same sex before entry or during an event. (This search is limited to a frisk search of your person, clothing and bag/s and or the running of a metal detection device over your body, clothing or bags and none intrusive drug and alcohol tests.) You will be refused entry and your parents will be contacted to collect you if: 1. You are intoxicated by alcohol or another drug or return any reading from a breath or drug test. 2. You attempt to bring into the venue, or attempt to sell, deal or distribute an illicit drug, alcohol or nitrous oxide bulbs. 3. You are in possession of any weapon such as a knife, or any other article which is against the law. 4. You do not consent to a search by police or security staff prior to entry into the dance party. Refunds will not be provided to any person breaching these conditions and appropriate legal action may also be taken. Admission Policy : Admission to Ballistics signifies agreement to the following conditions : 1) Admission is subject to the rules and regulations of the venue owners, operators and management. Zero tolerance policies are in operation; discrimination of any type and threatening / aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. Person(s) behaving in such a manner WILL be detained and parents/guardians will be contacted to collect them and or police will be called. 2) Ages 14 to 17 only. The management reserve the right to refuse admission. 3) Admission to the venue and performance is at the ticket holder's own risk. Neither the PCYC/NSW Police nor the venue shall be held liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained within the premises. 4) Neither the venue nor PCYC/NSW Police can accept responsibility for lost or stolen property. 5) Unauthorised photography and the use of recording equipment is prohibited. No removable lens, digital video or photography equipment can be brought into the venue without the permission of the promoters. 6) No bottles, containers, cans or food to be brought into the venue. A zero tolerance drugs policy is in operation. Person(s) found in possession of alcohol/drugs/illegal substances will be detained and parents/guardians and Police will be contacted. 7) The management reserve the right to search all persons and personal property and refuse entry to, or eject from, the venue any person who refuses to be searched by police/security personnel. 8) Any person who fails to comply with instructions from Police/Security or staff member or other person acting for the management may be detained and parents/guardians will be contacted to collect them. 9) The PCYC/NSW Police reserves the right to alter or change the programme, staging or seating without prior notification. 10) No money will be refunded or tickets exchanged after purchase, unless the event is cancelled. In the event of cancellation, the PCYC’s sole obligation and liability shall be to offer a ticket for an alternative event, if available, or a refund of the ticket less the selling agent’s commission. No other claims will be considered. 12) No duplicates will be issued for lost tickets. Please keep your ticket safe. Safety Policy : Ballistics is strictly for patrons aged between 14 and 17. Anyone aged 18 or over, or 13 or under, is not allowed into the event. No alcohol is served at Ballistics. We try our very best to ensure the health and safety of everyone who comes into Ballistics. It is a fully supervised by Police, Security and PCYC staff and volunteers. We have a team of Police/Security and PCYC staff and volunteers at each event there is always at least one first-aider. If anyone is feeling unwell, they are escorted to a secure area, where they are cared for by a member of staff. We then attempt to contact parents/relatives in order to collect them from the club. The venue has a zero tolerance policy on drugs and alcohol. Staff check everyone before entry. Anyone who is suspected of having consumed alcohol before coming into the club will be breath tested and if they have consumed any alcohol at all will not be allowed in. Please email if you require more information. Photography Policy: Ballistics takes photographs at each event for display on the Gallery page of this website and other promotional purposes. If you do not want to have your photograph taken at the event, simply tell the photographer at the time. Similarly, if your parents/guardians do not consent to your photograph being placed on the gallery page then simply email us the filename and request its deletion and we will remove the photograph. Ballistics Under 18's Dance Parties are conducted by the the Ballistix Youth Committee at The Builders Club 61 Church Street Wollongong. The committee is supported by the Wollongong Police and Community Youth Club and the Police attached to the PCYC. The Wollongong PCYC is a registered charity with 100% tax deductibility status and has been established for over 50 years. It is a name you can trust!
